My name is Lisa Le Donne and I grew up in Sebastopol the oldest of six kids! After I graduated from Analy, I moved to Southern California where I played softball and volleyball for Hope International University on an athletic scholarship. I received my BA in history and have a minor in Biblical Studies. My credential is in Social Science and in 2018 I completed my Masters in English (woo hoo!).
I have two children (young men really). Cade is 21 studying Kinesiology in Long Beach and Reece is here at Willowside. They love basketball and laughing and music. We have a dog and two cats and a wonderful garden we enjoy year round.
My teaching career began in the year 2000, but I found my professional home here at Oak Grove Union School District in 2008. I love my job and the people I work with. We are so lucky to be a part of this community.
I enjoy Giants baseball, Golden State basketball, good writing, politics, music, Sunday lunch with my big Italian family, traveling, coffee, sunfood, and of course, I am the ultimate history geek!
I also coordinate the 8th grade Washington DC Trip each Spring, I am the negotiations chair for the teachers’ union in our district, and write for Wine Country Mom’s Blog.
I can’t wait to get to know all of you, my wonderful students!
